Does The Collective Group guarantee that I will get funding if I have them write grants for my organization?While our grant writing consultants are dedicated to providing expert guidance and crafting high-quality proposals to enhance your chances of success, we cannot guarantee funding. The decision to fund a proposal depends on various factors, including the funding organization's priorities and the competitive nature of the application process.

How do I hire The Collective Group?Your organization will sign a contract outlining services and pricing and will be provided with a W-9 form for accounting purposes. Some fees may be due upon signing, and others will be due upon the provision of services and final products. You can pay by check, ACH bill pay, or credit card.

What will I need to provide The Collective Group with to be able to seek and write grants for my organization?Upon contracting with The Collective Group, you will be asked to fill out an intake survey and then be asked to provide any strategic plans, program outlines, and other information that will help your TCG Consultant understand your organization and what you hope to accomplish. The more we know about you, the better the services we provide you with will be. If you elect to have TCG write grants for you, you may need to provide us with financial and organizational documents that are required by some funders, including but not limited to an annual operating budget, your Tax ID number, Bylaws, Articles of Incorporation, IRS Determination Letter, etc.

Does my organization need to be a licensed nonprofit?Yes, in most cases. While a few funders might consider granting to unofficial community groups and private individuals, the eligibility for grants is typically limited to licensed nonprofit organizations.

How much do you charge?We pride ourselves on offering rates that are typically lower than our competitors. Our tiered payment system is designed to accommodate the unique needs and resources of your organization, considering factors such as its age and available resources. We believe in enabling your mission, not hindering it, so we ensure our costs do not obstruct your ability to make a meaningful impact in the community. Tier 1: Starter Perfect for small, emerging organizations or groups with limited budgets. This tier ensures that essential grant writing services are accessible to those just starting their impact journey. Prices range between $350-$500 per proposal. Tier 2: Growth Designed for medium-sized organizations or those that have a slightly larger budget and are looking to expand their funding sources. Prices range from $500- $1,000 per proposal. Tier 3: Impact Ideal for larger or more established organizations that are looking to maximize their grant funding opportunities and need comprehensive, strategic support. Prices range from $1,250-$2,000 per proposal.

If I choose not to apply for any of the grants The Collective Group identifies for my organization or don't receive funding from any of the grants The Collective Group writes for me, do I get a refund?No, you will not get a refund if The Collective Group seeks or writes grants for your organization but you choose not to apply or do not get awarded funding. You can cancel your services with The Collective Group at any time and will only be billed for services performed up to the date of cancellation.
